Why Refined
A grooming space, not a queue
Plenty of barber shops in Leigh will get you in and out in ten minutes. That is fine if all you want is a number two. We work to the clock properly instead, so every cut gets the time it needs and nobody feels rushed out of the chair.
The shop was fitted out to feel calm. Black leather chairs, black slatted panelling, warm off white walls and a full height arch mirror. Good light, good music, no shouting.
Every barber here is time served. We talk through what you want before the clippers come out, and we tell you straight if a style will not sit right with your hair. That is why most of our chairs are filled by regulars from Leigh, Pennington, Westleigh and Bedford.

We are on Bradshawgate, a couple of minutes walk from Leigh bus station and the Spinning Gate centre.
Parking. Spinning Gate and Leigh Sports Village car parks are both a short walk. There is on street parking on the side roads off Bradshawgate outside peak hours.
Opening days. We open three days a week: Thursday 10am to 7pm, Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coming from out of town. Atherton and Tyldesley are around ten minutes on the A579 and A578. Lowton and Golborne are ten to fifteen minutes on the A580 and A572. Astley is ten minutes down the A580.

What days are you open?
Three days a week. Thursday 10am to 7pm, Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. We are closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
How much is a haircut?
A men's haircut is £20. A men's haircut with your beard shaped is £23, and a kids haircut is £15. Those are the only three services we offer and the price is the same whoever cuts your hair.
Do you take walk ins?
Yes. Open Thursday to Saturday, so walk in on one of those days and if a chair is free you get cut. Saturdays fill up fast, so booking online is safer if you are short on time.

Do you cut kids hair?
Yes, a kids haircut is £15. Thursday and Friday afternoons are quieter than Saturday if your child does not like a busy shop.

Spinning Gate car park is the closest option, and there is on street parking on the roads off Bradshawgate outside the busy hours.
